The calendar, comprising 365 sheets, is designed as a travel manual providing basic information about typical tourist attractions in 28 coastal provinces and cities across Vietnam so that viewers can explore the country’s seas and islands day by day.

The theme colour of the calendar is blue, symbolising the colour of the sea, peace, youth and hope.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House expressed his hope that the calendar will provide viewers with useful and valuable information about the country's seas and islands while increasing the younger generation’s understanding and appreciation for the motherland.
