Groundbreaking ceremony for Quang Hanh golf course project
On August 19, Vingroup officially broke ground on the Quang Hanh golf course in Quang Hanh ward. The project is one of Quang Ninh’s key developments and part of a series of 250 projects being launched nationwide to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
Prominent among those was Mr. Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee.
Covering an area of around 100 hectares with a total investment of over VND 886 billion (approximately USD 35 million), the project will feature a 21-hole golf course, a clubhouse, staff housing, landscaped parks, and other amenities.
Once completed, Quang Hanh golf course is expected to drive local economic growth and boost tourism, services, and sports in the province. It will also serve as a distinctive tourism–sports destination, attracting visitors to Quang Ninh while providing new leisure and wellness options for the community.
In addition, Vingroup plans to study a large-scale coastal eco-resort complex in the area, comprising luxury villas, hotels, a marina, retail space, cultural and culinary experiences, all supported by smart and modern infrastructure.

With its prime location along the Ha Long-Cam Pha coastal road and its unique resource of hot mineral springs located hundreds of meters underground, Quang Hanh Ward has already become a magnet for major investment projects. The area is envisioned as a future hub for high-quality tourism, services, and commerce in Quang Ninh.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Le Van Anh praised Vingroup’s determination and the close coordination of local authorities and agencies, especially the Quang Hanh ward People’s Committee, for ensuring the project could break ground on such a meaningful national occasion.
He reaffirmed Quang Ninh’s commitment to supporting businesses investing in the province, and urged Vingroup and Thai Son Construction Investment JSC to mobilize resources and modern equipment to accelerate construction across all project components, aiming for completion ahead of schedule.

He also emphasized the need for strict management of quality, progress, safety, and compliance with regulations throughout the project’s implementation.
Local authorities and relevant agencies were tasked with continuing to assist the investor in handling administrative procedures, promptly resolving obstacles, and reporting to the Provincial People’s Committee on issues beyond their authority.
The Quang Hanh ward People’s Committee will oversee and monitor the project timeline to ensure it stays on track and delivers maximum socio-economic and environmental benefits.
