Van Don welcomes new summer

On April 28, a music show marking the opening of diverse sports and cultural activities was held in Van Don island district on the occasion of the ongoing five-day holiday.

Prominent among those was Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Hanh.

A range of activities including a cuisine  festival, arts shows, sports competitions and an OCOP fair have attracted lots of locals and tourists.

As planned, Van Don district is going to officially put the two walking streets in Quan Lan island and Minh Chau island into operation this evening, April 29.
