Based on the 1pm weather forecast from the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting on September 5th regarding the impact of Typhoon No.3, it's recognised that this is a very strong storm with significant natural disaster risks and complex developments, with the potential to affect and threaten the safety of operations at airports.

Van Don International Airport  will temporarily suspend aircraft operations from 4am to 4pm on September 7th. As planned, there will be two Vietnam Airlines flights taking off and arriving at the airport during this time.

The airport has worked closely with Vietnam Airlines to inform passengers and implement safety measures in accordance with current regulations and ensure absolute safety in flight operations.
