Tuan Chau Golf Course is in the list of 95 golf courses under the Government's development plan for 2020. This is the biggest golf course project in Quang Ninh province.

Lying on the bank of the world heritage Ha Long Bay, the 139-hectare Tuan Chau Golf Course, designed for both day and evening golf, includes multi-purpose buildings with accommodations, dining, shopping for golfers and fans and a car park.

According to Dinh Huu Chung, Deputy General Director of Au Lac Company Limited, an affiliate of Tuan Chau Group, conductors have already conducted 90% of workload and it is anticipated that the project will have undergone its trial operation by March 2021 and officially greeted golfers and tourists by June 2021.

The golf course will serve as an added attraction in the area.

A Tuan Chau group representative said the golf course would be unique as it would be located next to the province's Tuan Chau cruise ship terminal, which the Vietnam Record Organisation recently recognised as the nation's biggest artificial marina.

While the marina connects the local area to multiple ports, ship operators and international yachts in the region and the world, the golf course will serve as an added attraction in the area and will further promote the image of Ha Long Bay.

The project is expected to significantly contribute to the development of the domestic economy as well as tourism, sports and services and create jobs for residents.
