In order to adapt flexibly and effectively, many trade promotion activities have been implemented again by Quang Ninh province on the basis of ensuring epidemic prevention measures and in association with re-opening of tourism activities in the province.

2022 has witnessed extremely unpredictable Covid-19 epidemic situation, however, along with the reopening of tourism activities, promotional activities are also being restarted with many promotional and consumption activities. In the future, promotional activities will be associated with tourism activities, and the 31st SEA Games…

Specifically, the province will organize a series of events of souvenir stalls and OCOP products for SEA Games 31 taking place in Quang Ninh; OCOP Quang Ninh - Summer 2022 is expected to be held from April 26 to May 1, 2022; some promotional activities will be organized in the series of events of Ha Long Tourism Week 2022.

The province also stimulates the organization of district-level OCOP fairs to promote, connect and expand product consumption markets associated with traditional festivals based on the principle of ensuring epidemic prevention.

 “In order to facilitate trade promotion activities in 2022, the Center will continue to upgrade the e-commerce trading platform (http://teqni.gov.vn), in which, priority is given to introduce, promote, connect and consume OCOP products. We will also strengthen promotion activities, connect and promote product consumption of Quang Ninh province by enhancing sales in such reputable e-commerce platforms such as Voso, Sendo, Postmart.vn, etc.”, said Director of Center for Trade Promotion and Industry & Trade Development, Nguyen Kien.

 “At the same time, we will follow closely the executive directions on disease prevention and control of the province, thereby developing and advising on appropriate and effective trade promotion plans, aiming to stimulate consumer demand in the province, promoting goods consumption activities for businesses”, he added.
