The special art programme “Quang Ninh – A City Shining into the Future”

The special art programme “Quang Ninh – A City Shining into the Future”, one of the highlights of the celebrations marking the establishment of Quang Ninh City and the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day, took place on the evening of August 28 at October 30 Square, attracting approximately 100,000 delegates, residents and visitors.

A key feature of the programme was its innovative rotating stage design, which enabled large numbers of residents and visitors to enjoy the performances from different viewing positions. Lasting approximately 120 minutes, the programme combined high- and low-level fireworks displays, a drone light show, a light show by tourist boats on Ha Long Bay, and a range of advanced technological effects, creating a spectacular and memorable experience to mark this important milestone. The programme is a major political and cultural event of special significance, affirming the image of Quang Ninh as a modern, civilised city with a rich cultural identity, a heritage city and a dynamic development hub for the northeastern region and the country.
