Speeding up the construction of Ha Long-Cam Pha coastal road

Having been launched since August 2019, the project to build a coastal road connecting Ha Long and Cam Pha cities is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The road has a total length of 18.7km, including 10.2km passing through Cam Pha city. The section on Cam Pha city has almost been finished.

The construction of the section on Ha Long city began later than the Cam Pha one, in March 2020, due to some changes in its design. The constructors have currently speeded up the progress to finish this section by October 2021.

The 4-kilometer sea route has been constructed with the K98 embankment. The asphalt pavement is scheduled to be built in November 2021 in order to ensure the route will be completed in December 2021.

Contractors are constructing embankments on mountain slopes to prevent landslides, falling rocks, and ensure safety for vehicles when traveling on the route.

The section connecting with Ha Long city’s Tran Quoc Nghien road had been delayed until October 5. This sub-project will be implemented all day and night to be finished in December 2021.
