Spectacular art program kicks off Asian Open Police Taekwondo Championship

An outstanding art programme took place in Ha Long city on December 7 to welcome the Vietnam 2024 Asian Open Police Taekwondo Championships.

The event featured a brass band parade and a performance by a cavalry team of 40 horses, presented by the Mobile Police High Command. The art program was divided into two chapters: Radiant Vietnam and People’s Police: Integration and Development.

Domestic and international artists, singers, and performers showcased captivating acts celebrating the strength of police forces worldwide while highlighting the rich culture and vibrant people of Vietnam. The performances also emphasized the spirit of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and its international partners.

The 2024 Asian Open Police Taekwondo Championship is being held at the Quang Ninh provincial Sports Complex, running until December 9, drawing more than 2,000 athletes from 19 countries and territories across Asia.

The special performances attracted a large number of people and tourists to enjoy.
