Releasing fish into the natural environment has become an annual tradition in Quang Yen with an attempt to replenish aquatic resources and encouraging community involvement in conservation efforts.
This program also raises awareness about protecting marine life by discouraging harmful fishing practices, such as using fine-mesh nets, electric shocks, explosives, or toxic chemicals, and preventing fishing in restricted areas.

Authorities are also focused on optimizing nearshore and offshore fishing fleets, promoting sustainable aquaculture, and developing a robust fisheries support system.
