Quang Ninh welcomed roughly 100,000 tourist arrivals last weekend
Quang Ninh province greeted approximately 100,000 tourist arrivals on May 14-15, reported the Department of Tourism.
Visitors mainly go to tourist destinations such as Ha Long Bay (over 19,200 visitor arrivals), Quang Ninh Museum (about 7,500), the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscapes (nearly 3,200), Cua Ong temple (nearly 1,500), Ba Vang pagoda (7,000), etc.
Quang Ninh has reduced entrance fees to some of its most popular tourist attractions such as Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum, and the Yen Tu Complex of Monuments and Landscape in the first six months of 2022.
Notably, a series of SEA Games 31 competitions kicked off in Quang Ninh last weekend, attracting a large number of visitors from neighboring provinces.
From May 13 to 15, the Ha Long - Quang Ninh Food Festival 2022 was held with a series of activities such as a special music show titled "Quang Ninh welcomes summer 2022", a fair with 150 booths displaying and selling local cuisine and products in Quang Ninh and other provinces and cities from three regions of Vietnam, a cocktail making show, folk games, etc.
The Border Myrtle Flower Festival 2022 held in Mong Cai border city attracted about 10,000 visitor arrivals.
