Quang Ninh welcomes 500 guests from Malaysia
On January 8, a welcoming program was held by the Department of Tourism to greet a delegation of 500 tourists from Malaysia. This is part of cooperative agreements inked between Quang Ninh tourism businesses and their Malaysian partners at the 17th East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF).
They have stayed in hotels of four and five stars in Quang Ninh 4 days 3 nights from January 8. These tourists plan to do a tour of Ha Long Bay, visit some attractions and enjoy local specialities.
The delegation came from Malaysia’s Sarawak province, a member of the 17th East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum.
Previously, at the bilateral meeting within the framework of EATOF, leaders of Quang Ninh province and Malaysia’s Sarawak province had a bilateral talk and agreed to promote tourism linkages between the two localities. Accordingly, there will be about 1,000 visitors from Malaysia to Quang Ninh in the forthcoming time.
