Quang Ninh to reduce fees to tourist attractions by half in 2022
According to the resolution on supporting tourism situmulus approved at the 14th session of the provincial People's Council, the province continues to reduce entrance fees some renowned attractions with 50% discounts in 2022.
The list includes Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum, and the Yen Tu Complex of Monuments and Landscape. This policy aims to restart tourism services in Quang Ninh in the hope that tourists visiting such attractions are likely to explore other spots in the province.
The tourism stimulus package is expected to be a boost to promote services, recover tourism and create jobs for thousands of workers, thereby contributing to economic growth in the forthcoming year.
It is predicted that in the first half of 2022, the number of tourists and visitors to Hạ Long Bay will reach 1.2 to 1.5 million; Quảng Ninh Museum, 100,000; and the Yên Tử Complex, 200,000 to 250,000.
Quang Ninh authorities has reduced entrance fees to these tourist attractions since 2021 as an active move to support the local tourism sector in the context of Covid-19 pademic with complicated developments.
