Quang Ninh suspends more public activities from 12am on August 4 to maintain safety
Quang Ninh authorities have issued more drastic measures so as to hinder the risk of Covid-19 spread amid the ongoing Covid-19 wave in various localities.
According to the latest guidelines, art performances, cinemas, sport facilities (gyms, yoga, snooker clubs, football yards and swimming pools), spa and beauty salons across the province are closed down since 12am August 4.
Local residents are requested to stay home, during nighttime from 11 pm to 4 am, except for very limited purposes.
Takeaway services are encouraged and people need to keep a distance of at least 1m. Records of staff, customers and visitors must be maintained for contact tracing purposes.
Local authorities are asked to tighten the management of wholesale markets and road markets in the province. No activities and events with large crowds are allowed to be held.
People are not permitted to gather in groups of five people at the same time at public places such as flower gardens, parks, squares, streets, beaches and outside offices, hotels, restaurants, schools, etc.
Covid-19 checkpoints must implement stricter control of people and vehicles going in and out of the province, especially pay great attention to drivers (buses, goods transport vehicles, containers, cargo ships), crew members and passengers.
People entering Quang Ninh must have negative results of SARS-CoV-2 tested by RT-PCR method within 72 hours from the time of sample collection. A rapid test by antigen method must be performed at the checkpoints in case their testing results exceed 36 hours.
Those who have travelled to or returned from the high-risk areas defined at Directive No. 15/CT- TTg and Directive No. 16/CT- TTg issued by the Vietnamese Prime Minister issued by the Vietnamese Prime Minister must undergo paid 14-day paid quarantine in designated concentrated facilities and 7 days at home after that.
