Quang Ninh’s policies on the prevention and control of COVID-19
At the 3rd session of the 14th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2022, the councilors has approved a number of urgent solutions and specific policies to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic.
1. The province will support 100% tuition fees during the school year 2021-2022 for preschool children and students at local public and non-public institutions.
2. Functional forcesworking at the checkpoints of Bach Dang bridge, Da Bac bridge, Vang Chua bridge and Km15 complex at Dan Tien wharf receive:
- An assistance of VND 150,000/person/day.
- A meal support of VND 120,000/person/day.
3. Functional forcesworking at other checkpoints receive:
- An assistance of VND 130,000/person/day.
- A meal support of VND 80,000/person/day.
4. Service guiders at public medical facilities receive:
- An assistance of VND 100,000/person/day.
- A maximum of VND 1,500,000/person/month.
5. Members of commune-level Covid-19 prevention and control mobile teams receive:
- An assistance of VND 100,000/person/day.
- A maximum of VND 1,500,000/person/month.
6. Community Covid-19 control teams at unquarantined villages, hamlets and neighborhoods receive an assistance of VND 1,000,000/team/month.
7. Mobilized medical staff and medical college students receive:
- A meal support of VND 80,000/person/day.
- A daily needs assistance of VND 40,000/person/day.
8. Quang Ninh province will support essential food for quarantine residents who belong to poor households, near-poor households and social protection with 80,000/person/day maximum.
9. Provincial authorities who are supervising illegal entries and transporting quarantined prisoners receive:
- 100% expenses for escorting subjects to quarantine facilities.
- 100% SARS-CoV-2 testing and filtering costs for on-duty authorities and quarantined subjects.
- A meal support of VND 80,000/person/day.
- A daily needs assistance of VND 40,000/person/day.
10. The province will support 100% SARS-CoV-2 testing and filtering costs using the RT-PCR method merging 10 samples of Covid-10 suspected people who are required by by the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control at all levels.
Moreover, the province will also support single sample RT-PCR tests for sample merges suspected positive for SARS-CoV-2 and citizens patients at public medical facilities who have some symptoms such as cough, fever and trouble breathing.
