Quang Ninh's GRDP growth in 2021 is estimated at 10.28%

The General Statistics Office has just announced the growth indicators of the whole country as well as provinces and cities in 2021. Quang Ninh continues to have a double-digit growth rate (GRDP).

Accordingly, the success in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic has enabled Quang Ninh to maintain its economic growth. Its economic growth rate increases from 7.75% in the first 6 months of 2021 to 12.52% in the last 6 months and is estimated at 10.28% for the whole year.

State budget revenue is estimated at over VND 51,000 billion, exceeding the target assigned by the Central Government and the Provincial People's Council at the beginning of the year and standing among the leading localities nationwide.

Non-budget investments also increase considerably. A series of large projects are the Green Ha Long complex urban area, Dong Trieu Golf Course, LNG Quang Ninh gas power plant and Van Ninh general port. The total investment capital is estimated at 93,938 billion VND, representing an increase of over 10% over the same period.

With the GRDP growth rate announced by the General Statistics Office, Quang Ninh is listed in the group of localities maintaining high growth rates with double-digit for 6 consecutive years.
