Quang Ninh’s daily tally of Covid-19 cases at record

Quang Ninh authorities reported 2,477 new COVID-19 infections on Feb.17, its highest daily tally since the coronavirus pandemic started. Out of the new daily transmissions, 2,248 were community cases.

The widespread Covid-19 testing has been carried out since the end of the Lunar New Year holiday, and the number of new infected cases has considerably increased.

2,477 new Covid-19 patients confirmed on Feb.17 reside in Ha Long (1,020 cases), Quang Yen (345 cases), Uong Bi (268 cases), Dong Trieu (203 cases), Cam Pha (202 cases), Tien Yen (89 cases), Mong Cai (89 cases), Dam Ha (83 cases), Ba Che (64 cases), Van Don (61 cases), Hai Ha (42 cases), Co To (10 cases), and Binh Lieu (1 case).

Out of the new daily transmissions, 2,248 were community cases.

7,338 F0s have been under treatment across the province, of which, 4,988 cases have been treated at home, 966 ones have been in concentrated quarantine areas, and 1,384 ones at hospitals and health clinics.

Quang Ninh has already launched various programs of vaccination against Covid-19 with over 3.1 million doses. Notably, 899,795 people have so far received the third shots of Covid-19 vaccine.
