Quang Ninh recorded 54 new Covid-19 infected cases

Quang Ninh authorities announced the confirmation of 54 new Covid-19 patients residing in Ha Long city, Uong Bi city and Quang Yen town in the evening of December 8.

Quang Ninh province implemented the widespread Covid-19 testing for many people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially those related to Covid-19 cases detected at these clusters.

Thousands of people are now in concentrated quarantine areas and self-isolate at home and other accommodations in accordance with Ministry of Health’s directions and 254 F0s have been under treatment at hospitals and health clinics in the province.

Since Oct. 11, the province has detected 907 F0s. In which, 647 patients recovered and went out of the hospital and 1 case died.

20 programs of vaccination against Covid-19 have been launched across the locality. It is reported that 41,916 people have been injected with one shot of Covid-19 vaccines and 1,060,737 people have received 2 injections.
