Quang Ninh recorded 47 new Covid-19 infected cases

Quang Ninh authorities announced the confirmation of 47 new Covid-19 patients residing at Dong Trieu town, two cities of Uong Bi, Mong Cai and three districts of Hai Ha, Dam Ha and Tien Yen on November 14.

Specifically, 9 cases in Dong Trieu town include one at Kim Son ward, one pupil at Binh Khe commune, 3 at Dong Trieu ward, 2 at Hong Thai Tay, and 2 at Mao Khe ward. 3 of them had been isolated at the town’s concentrated quarantine area while others were detected  through massive testing in the community. This town has so far confirmed 76 Covid-19 patients.

One new case detected in Uong Bi city was the child of a worker at Sao Vang Uong Bi Company. Uong Bi has emerged as a Covid-19 cluster in Quang Ninh with 83 cases.

Hai Ha district recently confirmed 20 new cases of Covid-19 related to Texhong Hai Ha Industrial Zone, 18 of them reside at Hai Ha district and 2 at its nearby district of Dam Ha.  

Dam Ha district detected 10 F0s at Tan Binh commune. One of them worked at Texhong Ngan Ha Science and Technology Co., Ltd (Texhong Hai Ha industrial park) and 9 cases were this F0’s relatives.

Tien Yen district confirmed 4 cases of Covid-19 related to the Texhong Hai Ha industrial park.

Mong Cai city had 3 cases including a truck driver, a person returning from Cambodia, a worker at Texhong Ngan Long Company, Texhong Hai Ha industrial park.

Quang Ninh province has implemented the widespread Covid-19 testing for people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially those related to Covid-19 cases detected at these clusters.

To date, Quang Ninh has thousands of people in concentrated quarantine areas and self-isolate at home and other accommodations in accordance with Ministry of Health’s directions and 211 F0s have been under treatment at hospitals and health clinics within the province.
