Quang Ninh recorded 105 new Covid-19 infected cases on Sunday

Quang Ninh authorities announced the confirmation of 105 new Covid-19 patients residing in three cities of Ha Long, Cam Pha, Uong Bi and two towns of Dong Trieu and Quang Yen in the evening of December 19.

All of these localities drastically implemented the widespread Covid-19 testing for people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially those related to Covid-19 cases detected at high-risk areas.

Thousands of people are now in concentrated quarantine areas and self-isolate at home and other accommodations in accordance with Ministry of Health’s directions.

650 F0s have been under treatment at hospitals and health clinics in the province, 56 cases have been treated at concentrated quarantine areas and 141cases at home.

17 patients were recovered on December 19.

Quang Ninh has already launched 20 programs of vaccination against Covid-19. It is reported that 41,916 people are injected with one shot of Covid-19 vaccines and 1,060,737 people receive 2 injections.

The province started to give the third COVID-19 vaccine dose to adults on December 18.
