Quang Ninh recorded 10 new Covid-19 infected cases

On Nov. 4, 10 Covid-19 cases, including 3 pupils, were detected in 4 cities and districts including Dong Trieu, Ha Long, Uong Bi, and Cam Pha. 

Specifically, Dong Trieu town confirmed 7 Covid-19 infected cases in Mao Khe ward and two communes of Hong Thai Tay and Hong Thai Dong.

The new case in Ha Long city was the wife of the patient No. 934919 recorded on November 2. 

One case in Cam Pha city was the wife of the patient No. 905928 recorded on October 29.

Another case in Uong Bi city worked at Sao Vang Company Limited.

These districts and cities have immediately implemented the widespread Covid-19 testing for people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection. As many as 8,960 people across the province took the Covid-19 tests within November 4. 

1,000 people are now in concentrated quarantine areas and 900 ones self-isolate at home and other accommodations.

Currently, 50 Covid-19 infected patients have been under treatment at the Hospial No.1 in Mong Cai city, the Hospital No.2 in Ha Long city, Vietnam-Sweeden Hospital in Uong Bi city, Cam Pha General Hospital in Cam Pha city, Dong Trieu Healthcare Centre in Dong Trieu town and Hai Ha Healthcare Centre in Hai Ha district. Those patients’ health have improved significantly.
