Quang Ninh lured 160,000 tourist arrivals last weekend

With the summer holiday peaking, various attractions in Quang Ninh greeted hundred thousands of tourists during weekends.

Tourists mainly visit some renowned attractions such as Ha Long Bay (over 45,000 tourist arrivals), Quang Ninh Museum (18,000), Sunworld Ha long Entertainment Park (about 50,000 tourist arrivals), etc.

Beside such tourist hotspots, some localities endowed with natural advantages for sea and island tourism such as Co To and Van Don saw a remarkable increase in the number of tourists.

Along with small group of tourists, Quang Ninh has welcome back plenty of big delegations including businesses, organizations, and big firms that organize conferences and seminars in conjunction with various recreational activities.

Quang Ninh’s tourism companies and service providers have made constant efforts to ensure the quality of products and services to meet the increasing demands.

In 2022, Quang Ninh's tourism industry strives to lure a total tourist arrivals of over 9.5 million, including over 1.4 million foreign ones.

The total revenue from tourism activities is projected to reach about VND 19,000 billion and the budget revenue from tourism activities is estimated to be over VND 1,700 billion.
