Quang Ninh launches action month on food safety

The Provincial Steering Board on Food Safety and Hygiene this morning launched the Action Month on Food Safety in Cam Pha city.

With the theme of "Better focus on the role and duty of food producers in the new era", the 2022 action month for food safety scheduled to last from April 15 to May 15.

The focus of the month is rasing public awareness of food safety-related issues, highlighting the roles and responsibilities of food producers and traders in the enforcement of the law on food safety, enhancing supervison by by paying visits to food manufacturers and businesses, and minimize poisoning caused by consuming unsafe food, fake food, and poor- quality food.

At the launching ceremony, representatives of food producers and traders signed a commitment to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on food safety.

Functional forces and youth union members of Cam Pha City marched along some main streets to spread the message of the action month.
