Quang Ninh hosted 5th National Forum on Digital Enterprises Development 2023
The fifth National Forum on Digital Enterprises Development 2023 (VFTE 2023) has been held in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.
The forum is a major industry event to summarize and evaluate the development of Vietnamese Digital Technology enterprises in the past 4 years, conveying core ideas about Digital Technology development, the Make in Vietnam spirit, Enterprise development Digital technology contributes to increasing labor productivity, rapid and sustainable development, inclusive development, escaping the middle income trap, turning Vietnam into a developed country.
The forum also had the participation of international delegates who are representatives of economic - trade, research and training organizations; representatives of diplomatic organizations; representatives of domestic and international multinational digital technology corporations; experts and representatives of foreign investors in Vietnam; International delegates attending Vietnam International Digital Week 2023.
Opening the forum, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung underscored the significance of the Make-in-Vietnam movement, particularly in the semiconductor industry, to Vietnam's development during the digital transformation era.
Speaking at the forum, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, Cao Tuong Huy highlighted the important role of this forum in offering Quang Ninh province and other localities nationwide a favorable opportunity to figure out appropriate plans for the implementation of digial transformation and the development of digital economy and society.
Since its inaugural session in 2019, VFTE has become a major event for the industry, serving to summarise and evaluate the progress of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises in the past year. It aims to convey core ideas about digital technology development, the spirit of Make-in-Vietnam, and digital applications to enhance revenue, profit and labour productivity.
