Quang Ninh ensures the best conditions for 17th EATOF

With the best preparations, Quang Ninh province promises to help the 17th East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) achieve great success.

Ha Long Royal Hotel, where conferences will take place, has already arranged essential facilities and professional staff to serve the event. The CEO of Ha Long Royal Hotel, Le Duy Kien, said: “We have thoroughly planned to prepare for the event so that all delegates will be given a favorable pleasure”.

Also, 30 volunteers have been mobilized to support delegations attending the event. The volunteers are excellent students of Ha Long University who can communicate fluently in English and have a good grasp of international culture and tourism.

The volunteers are highly aware of fulfilling their assigned tasks and serving as “ambassadors”, promoting the image of Quang Ninh province and Vietnam to international visitors.

Relevent functional forces and departments such as traffic police, local media channels, etc. have also launched a variety of programs promoting the significance of the event.

According to Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh provincial Tourism Department, Nguyen Thuy Yen, all the preparatory tasks have been accomplished.

The effectiveness of EATOF activities contributes to cultural, artistic and economic development of each locality and country in the forum. This is also an ideal chance for Quang Ninh to promote its strength and potentials widely, she added.

With the theme "Tourism recovery in East Asia in the new normal era”, the 17th East Asia Inter-Regional Tourism Forum (EATOF) General Assembly in 2022 is going to be held in Ha Long city, Cam Pha city and Van Don district.

EATOF 2022 is an opportunity for the host province to promote its tourism, expand business, investment and cooperation with countries in East Asia in particular and throughout the world in general.

It will include a signing ceremony of the meeting’s joint statement and recommendations on developing tourism cooperation between EATOF members.
