Quang Ninh doctors and nurses volunteer to work at Tay Ninh

20 doctors and nurses from Uong Bi Vietnam-Sweden Hospital have left for Tay Ninh province in the Southeast region of Vietnam to assist this province in combating against Covid-19 pandemic.

These well-qualified doctors and nurses working at Uong Bi Vietnam-Sweden Hospital are experienced in solving problems related to Covid-19 fight. Many of them used to take part in the volunteering programs in Bac Giang province.

This is the 5th time Quang Ninh province has sent medical workers to other localities in support of their combat against Covid-19. With the long-lasting traddition “Discipline and solidarity”, Quang Ninh - based doctors and nurses are ready to devote their competence and energy to the fight against the serious pandemic.

Tay Ninh province neighbors Ho Chi Minh city and shares a 240- km border with Cambodia with 129 checkpoints. This province has recorded over 1,900 Covid-19 cases in this Covid-19 wave.

During his trip to Tay Ninh on July 11, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested this locality to take actions to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic from spreading out in the community, strictly monitor those coming from pandemic-hit areas, and control the border.
