The event was hosted by the People’s Government of Chongzuo city and organized by the Pingxiang city authorities.

Delegations from Vietnam’s Quang Ninh, Lang Son, and Cao Bang provinces attended. Leading Quang Ninh’s delegation was Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Ngoc Son.

First held in 1992, the annual festival promotes cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries. This year, the Quang Ninh delegation took part in key activities such as the opening ceremony, the inaugural China-Vietnam tourism image ambassador awards, the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement on industry integration and development, a trial clearance of autonomous container trucks at the Pho Chai-Tan Thanh smart border gate, and the “ASEAN fresh fruit chain - Fruit trade bridge” exhibition.

Deputy Director of Quảng Ninh’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Ngoc Son, attended the plaque-unveiling ceremony of the Huu Nghi Quan historical exhibition hall and the launch of the Vietnam-China folk art exchange. (Photo courtesy of the delegation).

The delegation also toured the Huu Nghi Quan historical exhibition hall and the Vietnam-China folk art gallery.

Quang Ninh’s participation, at the invitation of Chinese counterparts, contributed to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (1950-2025) and the Vietnam-China people-to-people exchange year, while further strengthening cooperation in trade, tourism, investment, and cultural exchange.
