The ceremony announcing the National Assembly’s Resolution on the establishment of Quang Ninh City marks a special milestone in the province’s journey of development and its efforts to shape a new chapter for this northeastern gateway region. The significance of this moment is heightened as Quang Ninh’s landmark celebration coincides with the nationwide celebrations of the 81st anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, 1945–2026, creating a solemn, joyful and proud atmosphere.
At the Tuan Chau roundabout, the gateway to the central urban area, the streets have been beautifully decorated with colourful flags and flowers, along with large banners welcoming residents and visitors to Quang Ninh City.Across the city, especially along major streets, at roundabouts, traffic islands and intersections, colourful flags and floral decorations have been put up in vibrant displays to welcome this important occasion.At the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs, a large commemorative display carries the slogan “Proud to follow the glorious Party, Quang Ninh soars to new heights,” creating a striking focal point.
Hundreds of large billboards, banners and decorative displays have been installed throughout the city, featuring slogans celebrating the establishment of Quang Ninh City and inspiring people to join efforts to build and develop the young city.The headquarters of government agencies, businesses and other organisations, as well as school campuses, have been adorned with Party flags, national flags and numerous banners, creating a festive atmosphere as Quang Ninh celebrates its establishment as a city.
The red national flags with the yellow star have also been proudly displayed on the balconies of apartments in many residential buildings across the central urban areas.A large check-in gateway has been erected along Tran Quoc Nghien coastal ring road, in front of Vincom Trade Centre and at the foot of historic Bai Tho Mountain, providing an attractive spot for residents and visitors to explore and take commemorative photos.
