Quang Ninh aims to attract roughly 2 million tourist arrivals

As a safe destination, Quang Ninh tourism is spreading the message “Quang Ninh tourism: Safe - Friendly - Attractive” with the aim of welcoming 1.9-2 million tourist arrivals and earn VND 4-4.5 trillion (USD 175.6 - 197.5 million USD) from tourism services in the last quarter of 2021.

Quang Ninh authorities also require tourism businesses and tourist sites to have good preparation for welcoming visitors back to attractions in line with safety regulations issued by the province and the Ministry of Health.

Various package tours themed safe holidays have been introduced to tourists in order to meet travel demands in this new normal situation.

As planned, 50 events, including 10 provincial-level activities and events, are going to be held across the province.

In addition to great efforts to retain safety for locals and tourists, the province has undertaken a range of stimulus measures, especially those related to domestic tourism. Notablly, tourists have paid no admission fees to renowned attractions including Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Mueum and the complex of Yen Tu monuments and landscape from June 18 to the end of this year.

Besides, all local residents and domestic visitors coming to the province through Van Don International Airport have received free tickets to visit Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu tourist site.

Local authorities are actively implementing a mass vaccination drive against COVID-19 in the province with the aim of reaching herd immunity against COVID-19 as soon as possible, towards gradually resuming tourism activities.
