QMG journalists received the press award on traffic safety 2023

A group of journalists working at Quang Ninh Media Group (QMG) won a second prize of the press award on traffic safety 2023 at a ceremony held by the National Committee for Traffic Safety in Hanoi on December 27.

Since it was launched in 2012, the press award has contributed to addressing pressing issues in the field of transport management as well as in traffic safety.

The jury awarded four first, six second, nine third, and 32 consolation prizes to the most outstanding entries, sorted from nearly 516 submissions in four categories of online and printed newspaper, radio, and photojournalism. A group of journalists including Ngo Thu Hien, Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Dinh Thi Phuong Anh, and Nguyen Duc Anh from Quang Ninh Media Group received one second prize.

At the ceremony, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang stressed that the press plays a pivotal role in facilitating the country’s socio-economic, political and cultural development, in addition to raising people’s awareness of ensuring traffic safety.
