Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Ky sends congratulations to teachers

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, on November 20 led a delegation of the province’s officials to visit the Department of Education and Training on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 - 2023).

During his visit, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Ky acknowledged and highly appreciated the department’s outstanding results in professional work.

He also sent heartfelt congratulations, warm regards and best wishes to all teachers across the province. These educators persistently strive to enhance their capabilities, surmount challenges, and, with unwavering dedication, adhere to the mission of nurturing knowledge, skills, experience, ethical values and holistic development in the country's future generations.

Highlighting that the development of  high-quality human resources and skilled workers is considered one of the breakthroughs identified in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, he asked the educational sector to make comprehensive changes in the quality of general education, contributing to turning Quang Ninh into one of the leading provinces and cities in developing smart education, digital transformation, and applying information technology in educational management, teaching and quality assessment.

The primary focus would be on enhancing the quality of education at all levels, guided by the principle of placing students at the centre, with particular attention to fostering moral character and creativity.

He expresses the hope and belief that every teacher would persistently serve as a shining example, combining the cultivation of virtue with the practice of talent, demonstrating love for their profession and people.
