Protecting Quang Ninh citizens in Ukraine

The Quang Ninh Department of Foreign Affairs requested cooperation from relevant organizations in protecting Quang Ninh citizens in Ukraine.

The Department of Foreign Affairs respectfully requests all relevant organizations and Quang Ninh families whose members are living, working, and studying in Ukraine to inform Quang Ninh people about citizens protection hotlines.

In accordance with a Government’s official dispatch dated February 26 on protecting Vietnamese citizens  and issues of concerns in the current situation in Ukraine, the provincial People’s Committee directed the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs to inform the citizen protection hotlines to Quang Ninh citizens in Ukraine.

Accordingly, the Department of Foreign Affairs respectfully requests all relevant organizations and Quang Ninh people to inform Quang Ninh families whose members and relatives are living, working, and studying in Ukraine about the following citizen protection hotlines.

Since February 24, the armed conflict in Ukraine has spread in a fast and complicated manner, directly threatening the safety and assets of people and businesses, including that of around 7,000 Vietnamese living in Ukraine, mainly in Kharkiv, Odesa and Kyiv.

In such a situation, one of the top concerns of the Party, State, Government of Vietnam is to ensure the highest security and safety of lives, assets and legitimate interests of Vietnamese citizens and legal entities in Ukraine and related areas.
