Over VND 140 billion donated to COVID-19 vaccine fund

The Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front received more than VND 140 billion donated by local businesses to the COVID-19 vaccine fund this morning, June 30.

Of which, the B12 Petroleum Company donated VND 1 billion for the second phase and the Quang Minh Investment and Trading Company Limited (Cam Pha City) donated VND 20 million.

So far, 368 organizations and individuals have registered to build up the province’s Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control fund since the kick-start of the campaign to raise fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on May 28. The total amount of registered donations has increased to over VND 140 billion, of which, more than VND 135 billion was donated by 365 organizations and individuals.

All donations have been managed transparently and effectively. This fund is used to contribute the National Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, purchase vaccines for local people, invest in medical equipment for quarantine areas, support the treatment of Covid-19 severe patients and ensure frontline forces’ working conditions.
