Over 15,000 students sit for high school entrance exam
On June 1, 15,015 students across the province have sat their literature tests in the first exam of 2022’s high school entrance exams.
The foreign language exam took place in the afternoon. Slated for tommorow is the math exam.
The test questions will mainly cover material studied in the ninth grade, the highest grade of upper secondary level education in Vietnam.
Maths and literature tests will be taken in written form over a duration of 120 minutes while the foreign language test will combine both multiple choice and writing across 60 minutes.
Students applying for Ha Long High school for gifted students will have to take another test in a subject of their choice.
Most of the candidates were present at the test sites at 6am. Police and security forces have been on duty at the exam areas, ensuring absolute safety for the exam board and candidates.
According to the Department of Education and Training, Quang Ninh has 15,015 candidates registered for admission to 36 government-run high schools. There are 639 exam rooms across the province.
