Over 100 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Quang Ninh on Dec.16

Quang Ninh authorities announced the confirmation of 122 new Covid-19 patients residing in Ha Long city, Dong Trieu town, Quang Yen town, Mong Cai city, and Uong Bi city in the evening of December 16.

Thousands of people are now in concentrated quarantine areas and self-isolate at home and other accommodations in accordance with Ministry of Health’s directions.

501 F0s have been under treatment at hospitals and health clinics in the province and 51 cases are treated at home.

18 patients recovered on December 15.

Quang Ninh has implemented the widespread Covid-19 testing for many people at risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially those related to Covid-19 cases detected at these clusters.

The province has already launched 20 programs of vaccination against Covid-19. It is reported that 41,916 people are injected with one shot of Covid-19 vaccines and  1,060,737 people receive 2 injections.
