National Sports Games 2022: Golf tournament launched on Tuan Chau island

Within the framework of the National Sports Games 2022, the Golf Tournament  officially opened this morning, December 13, at Tuan Chau Golf Course.

According to the organising board, 60 players including leading sportspersons from 11 provinces and cities nationwide, have registered to compete in the event.

7 golfers from Quang Ninh include Dao Viet Ngoan, Bui Van Duong, Do Hong Giang, Hoang Dinh Tien, Nguyen Thi Bich Diep, Nguyen Thi Nga, and Vu Thi Thuan.

It’s nice today and all the conditions have been well prepared. On the first day of competition, Quang Ninh's athletes  performed well and confidently.

As planned, the men's and women's singles events will end on December 14.

The tournament will last until December 16.

Situated along the coast of the Ha Long Bay world natural heritage site, the Tuan Chau Golf Course, designed for both day and evening golf, includes multi-function buildings with accommodations, dining, shopping for golfers and audiences and a car park.

Tuan Chau Golf Course is in the list of 95 golf courses under the Government's development plan for 2020.
