National Architecture Awards launched

The Vietnam Architects’ Association in coordination with the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the 2022-2023 National Architecture Awards in Hanoi on August 18.

The awards aim to honour architects who have developed many modern architecture designs associated with local cultural identities, thus creating a good living environment for the community amid the adaptation to climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The awards also encourage the application of advanced technologies in designs in line with the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the Government's policy of digital transformation.

Prizes will be presented to architectural works in the categories of Residential Architecture, Public Architecture, Urban and Rural Planning, and Interior Architecture.

The biennial awards were first launched in 1994 as part of the official State Awards system in the field of architecture.
