Mong Cai: Over 841,700 tons of goods exported through border gate in 5 months

According to Mong Cai International Border Gate Management Board, from January 1 to May 30, 2021, 39,968 vehicles carrying 841,797 tons of import-export goods went the border gate of Bac Luan Bridge No. 2 and the open trail of Km3 + 4 Hai Yen temporary buoy bridge.

As many as 21,047 container trucks carrying 355, 448 tons of goods were allowed to run through the border gate of Bac Luan Bridge No. 2, representing a 20.12 percent increase year on year . Of which, there were 255, 215 tons of exported goods and 100, 233 tons of imported ones.

At the open trail of Km3+4 Hai Yen temporary floating bridge, more than 18,9 thousand trucks of seafood, fruit, tapioca and others were exported to China.

In the context of complicated COVID-19 pandemic, the management board of Mong Cai International Border Gate has currently worked closely with funcitional agencies and localities to strictly implement all defined regulations on Covid-19 prevention.
