Mong Cai-Dongxing international border gate welcomes 10 millionth visitor in 2018

The People’s Committees of Mong Cai city (Vietnam) and Dongxi province (China’s Guangzi Zhuang Autonomous Region) organized a ceremony on Nov. 6 to welcome the 10 millionth visitor arriving in Quang Ninh through the Mong Cai-Dongxing international border gate.

Particularly, only Mong Cai city has greeted around 3 million tourist arrivals so far this year.

The event highlights the outstanding development of the Mong Cai-Dongxi border gate and the growth of the number of tourists in 2018.

It also marks the significant cooperation tie between Vietnam’s Quang Ninh and Guangzi Zhuang Autonomous Region China’s Guangxi provinces in general and Mong Cai and Dongxi cities in particular, contributing to advertise trademarks and promote socio-economic development of the two localities.
