Mid-autumn festival celebrated at school
Programs celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival have been cheerfully undertaken at a variety of schools in strict conformity with all defined regulation on Covid-19 prevention and control.
The Mid-Autumn Festival known as “Tet Trung Thu” in Vietnam is one of the biggest holidays in Vietnam and it is traditionally held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.
The highlight of this festival is the scenery that various children parade on the streets, while singing and carrying colorful lanterns of different sizes to highlight the festival. However, this year’s festival has been held in a simpler way to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission despite the fact that Quang Ninh is now a “green” province which has been gone through 84 days without any new cases in the community.
