Luong Mong highland cultural market 2022 to open in December 24
As part of the plan on developing community-based tourism, the Luong Mong highland cultural market 2022 is scheduled to be held on December 24 at Dong Giang B hamlet, Luong Mong commune, Ba Che district.
The market will comprise 20 booths owned by different communes in Ba Che district to display and sell indigenous products.
Luong Mong commune will have 10 stalls displaying items and tools of ethnic minority people and selling locally-produced produces.
Visitors to the event should rent ethnic costumes, take part in folk games or sing dual love songs with local people.
Ba Che, home to 27,430 people of various ethnic groups including the Dao, Tay, Hoa, San Chi and Cao Lan, is a mountainous district in northeastern Quang Ninh province. The district has for a long time been known as a locality with great potential to develop eco-tourism.
Since March 2016, the province has approved two main tourism routes in the district. The first one covers Ba Che Town and Nam Son Commune (over 7km) while the second one links Thanh Son, Thanh Lam and Dap Thanh communes.
