Impressive Cherry Blossom Festival - Ky Thuong 2025
The Cherry Blossom Festival - Ky Thuong 2025 is a brand-new cultural event organized by the People’s Committee of Ha Long city from March 22 to March 23 in Ky Thuong commune, a highland area known for its pristine landscapes and cool climate.
Ky Thuong is the highest commune in Ha Long City, with nearly 900 residents, most of whom belong to the Dao Thanh Phán ethnic group. It boasts untouched natural beauty, including high mountains, pristine rivers, waterfalls, and lush green forests. The area is often referred to as a "natural air conditioner" for Ha Long due to its refreshing climate.
The Ky Thuong Cherry Blossom Area is a promising eco-tourism project, supported by leading Japanese flower-growing companies. Already, around 100 cherry blossom trees have been planted and are thriving, adding to the commune's charm.
This first-ever Cherry Blossom Festival in Ky Thuong is expected to become an annual event, attracting more tourists and boosting local tourism. It is a unique opportunity for visitors to experience a blend of Japanese and Vietnamese culture while enjoying the breathtaking natural scenery of Ha Long’s highland region.
