Ha Noi imposes stricter measures to contain COVID-19
Ha Noi authorities requested citizens to stay at home from July 19 as the capital city as part of the capital city's latest measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
Residents should only leave home if really necessary like going to work at public agencies, factories, production facilities, establishments providing essential goods and services, or to buy food and pharmaceuticals, or in case of emergency care, national disasters, and fires.
When residents leave home, they must strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K message: Khau trang (Face masks), Khu khuan (Disinfection), Khoang cach (Distancing), Khong tu tap (No gatherings), and Khai bao y te (Health declarations).
A gathering of more than five people outside public buildings, schools, and hospitals are prohibited.
Suspension of all non-essential services
The municipal authorities also decided to suspend all non-essential services while all factories, production facilities and establishments providing essential goods and services that are allowed to open must strictly follow preventive measures.
Travel from/to Ha Noi restricted
Residents are asked to refrain from travelling from other localities to Ha Noi and vice versa.
All people returning from other localities shall have to conduct health declaration right after they enter the city.
Suspension of weddings
The city also decided to temporarily halt weddings.
Funerals must be strictly monitored by grassroots health agencies. The maximum number of attendees shall not exceed 30.
