Ha Long pilots home self-isolation of F1 individuals
Ha Long authorities have decided to experiment isolation of 2 people who come in close contact with COVID-19 patients (F1 individuals) at home at the area of Troi No.1, Hoanh Bo ward.
The household fulfilled all criteria of home isolation regulated by the Ministry of Health. The isolation period that 2 F1s must undergo started on October 28 and ended on November 6, 2021.
These individuals committed to conform to all defined regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control. The Ha Long steering board of Covid-19 prevention and control also asked functional forces to put these F1s under close monitoring.
This move acts as one of the city’s active measures targeted safe adaptation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the Ministry of Health, home isolation has advantages for both the locality and the F1s themselves. It reduces the risk of cross-infection and isolating at home is more comfortable. However, home isolation requires close monitoring by the local administrators and health workers.
