Ha Long Bay's maiden drone light show to debut at Carnaval 2024
A drone light show will be conducted for the first time in Ha Long Bay as part of the Carnaval Ha Long 2024 program which is expected to take place on April 30 or June 1.
The yearly carnival, featuring music, processions, and dancing, is scheduled to take place on the beach at Dai Duong Park in Ha Long city.
The event will involve 1,200 actors, including both professionals and amateurs, and will also feature numerous tourist boats in the vicinity.
The highlight of this year’s carnival will be a drone light show that will be held for the first time. The drone show, of which relevant details have yet to be announced, will be launched along with a fireworks display, music, dancing, and other attractive programs of the carnival, which is included in the province’s 2024 tourism promotion plan.
As an annual event since 2007, Carnaval Ha Long has long been a unique and appealing cultural and tourism brand of Quang Ninh, becoming a familiar and favorite venue for locals as well as domestic and foreign travelers.
The upcoming carnival is one of Quang Ninh's nearly 200 activities to attract 17 million travelers, including three million international visitors, and generate a tourism revenue of VND39.1 trillion (US$1.58 billion) in 2024.
It is expected that Ha Long will welcome some 70 international ships with about 140,000 tourists this year.
