Ha Long Bay listed among the world’s most beautiful destinations in 2022

The world heritage site of Ha Long Bay has been selected in the list of top ten favorite tourist destinations in 2022 by a Canadian tourism website, the Travel.

Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay ranked 5th on the list.

The website described this famous site as a sea bay dotted with more than 1,600 limestone ranges and green islands covered with tropical trees. These uninhabited islands are really pristine and untouched.

“In fact, tourists will be in awe of the natural splendor that surrounds them. This is unquestionably a must-see destination!” according to The Travel.

“The best way to experience Ha Long Bay is by taking a cruise, or kayaking through the limestone karsts”, it said.

The website also suggested tourists visit some caves located in the bay,  Thien Cung cave and Sung Sot cave for instance.

Rounding off the top 10 best places as selected by The Travel includes China’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park,  Italy’s Venice, the USA’s Yellowstone National Park, Cambodia’s Angkor Wat temple, Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, Egypt’s Santorini island, etc.

The core area of Ha Long Bay was recognised twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site in 1994 and 2000, with global special values of geology. On November 12, 2011, Ha Long Bay, was announced by New Open World Organisation, as one of seven new natural wonders of the world. These days, although the COVID-19 pandemic still casts a bleak colour on many roads throughout all continents, Ha Long Bay is still beautiful and radiant under the control of intelligent Vietnamese minds.

The Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh has completed a draft plan called “Green-lane tourism” to revive the COVID-19-stricken tourism in the northern coastal province. The “Green-lane tourism” will offer holidaymakers safe services and make them feel comfortable and relaxed when experiencing tourism services.
