Ha Long Bay in CNN's list of 25 most world's beautiful natural wonders

In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), The US’s Cable News Network CNN announced the 25 most beautiful natural wonders in the world, including Quang Ninh’s Ha Long Bay.

Ha Long Bay, one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.

CNN describes Ha Long Bay as a must-visit destination in Vietnam.

“Its enduring popularity has made Ha Long Bay one of the hottest natural attractions in Southeast Asia,” CNN said.

With 1,969 islets of hulking limestone and deep, green waters, Ha Long Bay was twice recognised by the UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage. It has been named one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It becomes a magnet for domestic and international tourists. Those who come to Ha Long Bay will have a chance to sail on a junk boat or pick up a kayak for relax and enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the Bay.

CNN’s list also includes other most beautiful places in various countries and territories around the world, including Svalbard island (Norway), El Nido (the Philippines), Rotorua (New Zealand), Kata Tjuta (Australia), and the Maldives, etc.
