Ha Long Bay among 10 favorite tourist destinations in 2022: survey

Ha Long Bay has been selected in the list of top ten favorite tourist destinations in 2022 in a survey conducted byVnExpress, the Tourism Advisory Board and the Private Economic Development Research Board in December.

As many as 10,717 people took part in the survey of tourists’ choice of ten attractions that they really want to visit in 2022.

The world heritage site of Ha Long Bay famous for its limestone karst amid emerald-green waters, was in fifth on the list.

Other destinations include Phu Quoc Island, Da Lat, Sapa town, Da Nang city, Nha Trang, Ha Giang province, Hoi An town, Con Dao island, and Mui Ne.

The core area of Ha Long Bay was recognised twice by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage site in 1994 and 2000, with global special values of geology. On November 12, 2011, Ha Long Bay, was announced by New Open World Organisation, as one of seven new natural wonders of the world. These days, although the COVID-19 pandemic still casts a bleak colour on many roads throughout all continents, Ha Long Bay is still beautiful and radiant under the control of intelligent Vietnamese minds.

The Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh has completed a draft plan called “Green-lane tourism” to revive the COVID-19-stricken tourism in the northern coastal province. The “Green-lane tourism” will offer holidaymakers safe services and make them feel comfortable and relaxed when experiencing tourism services.
