Eighty new COVID-19 cases take national tally to 5,931

Viet Nam confirmed 80 community infection cases of COVID-19 as on Wednesday morning, raising the national caseload to 5,931.

The latest patients are recorded in Bac Giang (55), Bac Ninh (23), Thanh Hoa (one) and Hai Duong (one).

Viet Nam is experiencing the 4th wave of local transmissions with 2,872 domestic cases documented in 30 cities and provinces, in which the two northern provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh are hit hardest with 1,454 and 556 cases respectively.
