Customs clearance to resume at all border gates in Quang Ninh
Customs clearance activities are to be resumed at all border gates and open roads from February 7, or the seventh day of the first lunar month.
According to the defined schedule set for Tet holiday, customs clearance procedures in Mong Cai city held at Bac Luan 1 bridge from January 31 to February 6, along with at Bac Luan 2 bridge between February 3 and February 6. In Pontoon Bridge Km 3 + 4, the flow of agricultural, forestry, and fishery goods between the nation and China is scheduled to take place from February 3 to February 6.
On the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year, Quang Ninh exported 173 tons of goods to China through the temporary pontoon bridge Km3+4 Hai Yen (Mong Cai). Quang Ninh’s 74 seafood trucks include 132 tons of lobster, 10 tons of crabs and 6 tons of sea snails (Babylonia areolata), along with 25 tons of dry tea totaling 173 tons of fishery products from 10 borderland enterprises and individuals.
Hoanh Mo border gate in Binh Lieu district closed from January 25 to February 6 and Bac Phong Sinh border gate in Hai Ha district closed from January 24 to February 6.
All of these border gates and open roads are set to resume their normal customs clearance activities from February 7.
Previously, Quang Ninh on January 15 sent a document to the People's Committees of provinces and cities to temporarily suspend receiving agro-fishery product vehicles to border gates and openings in Mong Cai.
